Yup, I should've known that it would be super hard to keep up with this thing! Here I am, being the owner of this blog for almost 2 months and what do I have to show for it? ONE POST!!!
Sadly, I have nothing to say...Life is as it usually is right now! The kids are wild & getting bigger (and smarter!) every single day. We're busy carting Jessica around to all her activities, and Micah is starting to get interested in some activities of his own! He goes to a play group once a week for 3 hours and loves playing sports there.
Athletic kids exhaust me... :)

Another new day, another new blog
My name is Marissa...I'm not new to blogging (I've had an Xanga since December 2006) but I haven't been keeping up with Xanga a lot lately. I'm busy chasing around 2 little ones! Recently, I went through my blog and read all the old posts. It makes me happy that I was able to document so many moments of both of my kids' lives. Then I realized the HUGE gap between my posts recently, and how much stuff I had been forgetting that happened. I've decided to start on a fresh website to keep it "exciting" for me. I like new things!! So here I am!
I will tell you a little more about my life. I am 26, turning 27 on July 13th. I've been married to my college sweetheart, Brad, since April 13, 2004. I love him to death and still after 5 years I wouldn't ask for anyone better. We are best friends and we rarely fight and I love that about us! Just shy of being married for 2 years, I found out I was pregnant with our first child. Jessica Brianne was born December 26, 2006. She is a beautiful little girl and is always the star! When Jessi was 3 months old, Brad and I made a decision to start trying for a baby when Jessica was 6 months old. Figuring it wouldn't happen right away, we thought Jessica would be almost 2 by the time our 2nd was born. Little did we know, when we made that decision, we were already pregnant again! Micah Parker was born December 22, 2007. We love Micah even if he is our surprise baby! He is still surprising us today...He walks and talks so well for just being 18 months! We love both of our kids a lot, even if they drive Brad and I crazy sometimes! :-) Also, we have 2 dogs in our family so we kind of have 4 kids :-))) teehee...What else is there? I am the oldest of 7 kids (Crazy right?)...and when I say oldest, I mean OLDEST. My parents had me at a young age, so they had plenty of time to have more kids! Jillian is 20, Crystal & Matt are 18, Kylie is 8, Amber is 3, and Amelia was just born June 5, 2009! So their family is still growing along with ours...although they are hoping that Amelia Owen will be their last! I also have a niece, Annaliese Michelle, who was born April 13, 2008 (Our 4th wedding anniversary!!). The future of our family is very uncertain. Brad and I really don't know if we want more kids or not. Whatever happens, I know we will always be happy! :-)
